Philips norelco sensotouch combines 2d gyroflex and skinglide for a close, comfortable shave. 2d gyroflex has two-dimensional-contouring. it pivots around and tilts inward to easily adjust to the curves of the face, minimizing pressure and irritation. the skinglide system has a smooth flat surface with rounded edges to provide an extra-close shave with less irritation. aquatec is a seal on the razor which allows for use with or without shaving cream. try half of your face with shaving cream and half without and see which you prefer.

The Philips Norelco SensoTouch electric shaver is nicely designed and constructed. It shaves closely, but does have a few annoying design elements.

The design on the SensoTouch is futuristic, with a blue front, bowed body, and perched shave head. It fits comfortably in the hand, and has a rubber ridge that runs around the edge for added grip ( useful when using the shaver wet). The shaver has button on it, the power button, which is flush with the front of the shaver face. On the shaver front are also indicator lights. They display low battery, battery charging, and control lock status. The control lock lets you disable the power button to prevent Philips Norelco Shavers from accidentally turning on (when travelling for example). annoying aspect of the shaver's design, however, is that Philips Norelco Shavers is close to impossible to lay the shaver down without Philips Norelco Shavers turning on its side, and then dumping out some shavings onto the counter.
