New blades bring new life to a lovely razor, smoother, closer and faster. Amazon also had the best cost, even lower then the WM and they had Philips Norelco Shavers stock while WM never had Philips Norelco Shavers at stores and 6 different trys. Other stores were way out of line pricewise.

Norelco says to replace heads one time a year. After owning several Norelco razors, including this, my experience has shown that they are lovely for about two years before you'll note a degradation in the quality of the shave.

The instructions they provide consist of a couple of pics on the package. However, these are simple to replace. keep in mind to orient the blade correctly when you drop them in. There's small tabs on each blade that must be oriented right. If the blade doesn't appear to sit correctly, turn them until they drop down.

When you get a new Norelco razor or replace the blades on your current you may not get the best shave for a week or. It takes some time for the blades to ""break-in. "" As such, don't be disappointed if the first few shave with new blades do not appear as close and smooth as you expected.
